I recently had the pleasure of playing Grandpa Beck's Cover Your Assets and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! From the moment we opened the box, the excitement was palpable. The colorful artwork and fun theme set the stage for a lively game night filled with laughter and friendly competition.The gameplay is simple to learn, making it perfect for players of all ages. We had a mix of adults and kids, and everyone quickly got the hang of it. The objective is to collect and protect your assets, but watch out—your friends will be trying to steal them at every turn! I can’t tell you how many times I found myself in a heated battle over a stack of cash or a prized piggy bank. It’s hilarious to strategize and then watch someone swoop in to snag your hard-earned assets!While the game is mostly fantastic, there were a couple of moments when luck didn’t quite go my way, leaving me asset-less and a bit frustrated. But that just added to the fun—after all, it’s all about the thrill of the chase!Overall, I’d give Cover Your Assets five stars for its engaging gameplay and the joy it brings to family game nights. If you’re looking for a game that combines strategy, laughter, and a bit of friendly rivalry, this is it! Get ready for some unforgettable moments with friends and family!

Self love will not save you. But this game is fun.Best $18 I've spent in family entertainment in a long time. Everyone loves it. Easy and addictive. Genuine reviews are hard to come by. Have fun out there. And remember, it's just a game... We generally play without the advanced cards, but penny jar is a fun trump card.

Absolutely love this game, not very complicated to learn. It took 3 tries to receive the game without missing cards. It comes with a “complicated” version and an easy version, we haven’t tried the advanced version yet, but the easier version is classic, little bit luck little bit strategy.

Family night game to go to. My children love it, and the best part is that they are now playing complex card-laying strategies to win. I never let my kids win in games. With this game, I am working to win, and often, they kick my butt.

Honestly im not huge on card or board games. But we have all the classics at home, Skip-bo, Uno, Phase 10, CAH, etc. Ended up playing this with a family member and enjoyed it enough to order my own set. Honestly love it. Rules aren't too complex, and the strategy can be hard to nail down as all it takes is one person to decide to upend whatever you works all game to build. Honestly, feels as if nothing really matters too much, as 90% of the games i've played have been decided in the last 2-3 rounds, where everybody has saved up their "wild" cards and completely changes the tides of the game. So as far as a "strategy" game, I kind of would say its not. Sure you can use a strategy, plan carefully, etc but things to from everybody casually drawing cards and building decks the first 3/4 of the game, until suddenly it turns into a brawl with hands and decks changing hands almost every time someone has a turn to play their cards. Overall though its a blast, and i dont have the time to explain all the nuances of the game here. For the price it is, and without being able to say "its sort of like xxxx game, if you like that youll like this!" i would just honestly say buy it. Even not knowing a single thing about it, I would still say take the blind leap and get it

We ordered this expecting the original set, which we play frequently. It is a game we love! This newer version adds new action cards that add new elements and twists to the game. The cartoon-like graphics may appeal to younger players but we miss the classier images on the original deck. It’s still a favorite game, but I am going to see if the original set is still available. It’s still a quality build, a little harder to learn, but fun for the whole family.
