Excellent Product!
This 1/2” backer rod is firm and high quality and exactly as expected. In another review the smell of the product was mentioned. This product smells as would be standard for EPDM, nothing obnoxious, and will most likely dissipate over time.The 20’ length was delivered in one continuous piece and the quality is so much preferable to foam. I will be ordering more as I will need much more product to complete my project of filling the gap between band board trim overhanging the siding on my home and evicting the lizards. 🦎I hope this review was helpful! 😋

Great for concrete saw cuts and many more uses
It was impossible to find 1/4 inch backer rod locally so I took a chance with this type of foam instead of the standard gray backer rod foam, many of which were priced higher to significantly higher. This foam expresses medium compressibility and excellent original shape memory. I used this to put in concrete control joint saw cuts prior to caulking. It held up well to placement and poking with a putty knife and takes a pretty good tug pulling to get it to break. I would not hesitate to use this again.

Good quality
Fits well in relief cracks and allows enough room for filler to do it's job on top.

The best for our door
Hard to install with only one person. I used silicone spray to help. If you have ever changed these strips you know what I mean. They are beefy and over the top strong. Almost twice as thick as standard issue supplied with the door. Thumbs up!

A good choice
This turned out to be an excellent choice for a large separation between a garage floor and driveway.Hopefully the two part epoxy will do the rest of the sealing.I really like the density of the rubber foam packing rod.
